Melanie is currently involved as a graphic designer in the advertising industry of Honolulu, Hawaii. She has worked for various large and small scale advertising agencies over the years and has gained experience on all levels from production to direction for print and web. Upon graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a degree in Visual Communication and Photography, Melanie began her career developing designs for creative studios in both Chicago and Madrid. During that time she adapted a creative style strongly influenced by cultural elements and nature. In 2008 she launched her own freelance design business, known as Terra Creations which translates to earth creations. When she is not busy designing, she enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, hiking, photography and gardening. |
